Weekly!

So... wondering whats been going on in the Fashion World?? Well I'm not a fashionista but I did do a little research. So, guess what outragiously beautiful clothes came down the runway this time! The Spring Couture in Paris took place this week. According to the NY Times, this was Mr. Karl Lagerfeld's 54th couture collection for the house. It was a memorable milestone because it Mr. Lagerfeld 54 collections until he achieved his goal in making a dress that seemed seamless. Other notable designers in the show included Dior's John Galiano, Ricardo Tisci from Givenchy and many others! The show was a brilliant success and according to WWD Fashion Shows"Designers went for patina in spring couture with looks in luminous iridescant materials, mother-of- pearls effects and high shine fabrics often veiled with tulle or lace."
These designers brought breathtaking clothes to this years runway. For example Valentino's collection was so elegant and graceful that it floated down the runway. The color combinations were almost magical. His first dress was beige and yellow. Not only did the yellow pop in the sense that it's amazing, but the cut of the yellow fabric on the model's side made her eligible to put Tinker Bell out of the job. While watching these clothes come down the runway many of them, not just Valentino's, would make one nostalgic and bring ideas of fairies and winter wonderlands to mind.

I'd like to give a shout out to WWD Fashion Shows for being my reference! :)
